Introducing the Charles Mill Lake Fish Leaderboard and Weigh Station!

We're excited to announce that there is now a weigh station and fish leaderboard located at Charles Mill Marina, located right outside the men's restrooms. Anyone is welcome to use the weigh station at any time of the day.

We will be awarding $25 Charles Mill Marina gift cards on November 1 to the anglers who record the largest catches for each fish in Charles Mill Lake for that year. 

Contest Rules:

• Entrants must bring their catch to the marina to be recorded, or text us a photo of you and your fish to 419-368-5951. We will add you to the leaderboard and post your picture on our social media.
• Fish must be caught in Charles Mill Lake or in the Blackfork River within 1 mile of Charles Mill Lake (north or south).
• Fish length is determined by measuring a straight line from the end of the snout to the end of the tail fin.
• Entrants must have a current Ohio Fishing License.
• Largest fish will be determined either by weight or length. We encourage you to practice catch and release wherever possible.

Species Measured on Weight: 

• Wipers (hybrid striped bass)
• Largemouth Bass

Species Measured on Length:

• Catfish (Channel, Flathead and Bullhead)
• Saugeye
• Perch
• Bluegill
• Crappie
