Where Are Your Rental Boats Used At?
We have four boat rental locations:
- Charles Mill Marina, Mansfield, Ohio
- Pleasant Hill Marina, Perrysville, Ohio
- Pymatuning Boat Rentals, Andover, Ohio
- Mosquito Lake Marina & Boat Rental, Cortland, Ohio
Although Charles Mill Marina is our primary boat sales location, we can arrange for you to make payment and sign all required paperwork at any of these locations. Our goal is to make buying easy and hassle-free.
Why Do We Sell Our Rental Boats Every Season?
We love keeping our rental fleets in great condition! We will typically try to sell all boats (with some exceptions) after one or two years of service.The boats are still in great shape, generally with only cosmetic scratches and dents. The boats will not be perfect and will be sold as-is, but they represent a great value for buyers.
When Can I Buy A Rental Boat?
Our peak rental season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and we can begin delivering sold rental boats following Labor Day.
Interested buyers can place a fully refundable $500 deposit beginning Memorial Day Weekend for the right of first selection to a rental boat.
We work through the list of deposits in the order that we receive them, allowing the buyers to choose their boat or receive a refund if the boat they want is not available.
We do limit the number of deliveries slots for September in order to keep rental boats available to rent, so the earliest deposits will receive priority delivery.
How Much Can I Save By Buying a Rental vs a New Boat?
It depends on the type of boat. For a lower end pontoon with a smaller engine, you can expect to save between $2,000 and $5,000 off a new boat with the same features.
For our higher-end ski tritoons with 150 HP engines, you can expect to save between $6,000 and $10,000 off a new boat with the same features.
How Many Rental Boats Do You Have for Sale?
We typically have about 55 rental boats available for sale every season across our four rental locations (Charles Mill Lake, Pleasant Hill Lake, Pymatuning Lake and Mosquito Lake).These are nearly all pontoon boats with sizes ranging from 20' to 24', and with engines varying from 9.9 horsepower to 150 horsepower. We will list all of these boats on our Used Boats page in the middle of August every year.
